My work
All the work here is primarily based in PhotoShop. I usually start out sketching on paper using pen and marker, and then scan the drawing and progress to the rendering stage on the computer. I use an older model Wacom tablet as my basic interface. I enjoy the infinite nature of P'Shop - as there are so many levels to the programme. The brush settings are pretty flexible and the effects/filters/stamps etc. are really valuable. On the really detailed work I'll carefully mask out and colour/render each area at a time, and on the looser work such as the "The Dragon considers the request..." I'll completely freehand the colour in, building up each level. My plan is to set up a few "step by step" pages as a indication of the methodology I use.
