Welcome to petewashere.com - thanks for visiting. I work in the automotive design trade, working for the Ford Motor Company, based in Melbourne, Australia. I've been in the industry now for 13 years. I have a Masters in Design (Automotive) from RMIT, and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Canberra. More recently I've been involved with Monash University, lecturing in transportation design.

Lately I've been involved in an exhibition at "Off The Kerb" in Collingwood, Melbourne. Entitled "Production Line" it was a display of work from some of the designers from Ford. The art displayed was examples of work that we had undertaken in our spare time - some of it directly relating to our Auto-design profession, some completely removed from automotive influences. It was a great experience, and has inspired many of us to persue our work further.

I have a passion for all things automotive (including rusty old Alfas, Datsuns and Rat Rods), architecture, industrial design, guitars, eco design, sci-fi, and fantasy. I also freelance in design and illustration.
