I work in the automotive design trade, currently working for the Ford Motor Company based in Melbourne, Australia. I've been in the industry now for 12 years. I have a Masters in Design (Automotive) from RMIT, and a Bachelor of Industrial Design from the University of Canberra. More recently I've been involved with Monash University, lecturing in transportation design.
Recently I've been involved in an exhibition at "Off The Kerb" in Collingwood, Melbourne. Entitled "Production Line" it was a display of work from some of the designers from Ford. The art displayed were examples of work that we had undertaken in our spare time - some of it directly relating to our Auto-desgn profession, some completely removed from automotive influences. It was a great experience, and has inspired many of us to persue our work further.
I have a passion for all things automotive (including rusty old Alfas and rat rods), architecture, industrial design, the guitar, eco design, sci-fi, and fantasy. I also freelance after hours in design and illustration.
